Contemporary Research engineers put a lot of thought into how our customers would initially install and set up our products. There is nothing worse than purchasing AV products and realizing you don’t have all the accessories needed for the installation. Contemporary Research recognizes this challenge and is excited to announce all ATSC series HDTV Tuners, QMOD HDTV Modulators-IPTV Encoders, QIP IPTV Encoders, RF Combiners, and ICE-HE-DXL Display Control Centers will now include a Universal Rack Mount Kit (RKU). The RKU will allow for single or dual mounting options and includes hardware needed for configuration or installation. Detailed installation instructions will be included with each kit. One Universal Rack Mount Kit will be included with the purchase of each product listed above beginning January 8th, 2018.

Contemporary Research is dedicated to saving AV integrators time and money. We feel the inclusion of a Universal Rack Mount Kit will insure the correct rack mount is available for every installation, preventing delays or added expense. We also want to provide an opportunity for active dealers to return unused rack kits; therefore, we have created the “Universal Rack Kit Return for Credit Program”, Dec. 1st-31st, 2018. Active dealers will be asked to keep new, unused, complete sets of the universal rack mounting kits purchased in 2018 and may return them for a $25 credit per rack kit. Only one credit memo per dealer will be issued, once all rack kits have been returned. The credit memo will be valid for one year and will carry no cash value. Dealers must return complete, undamaged, Universal Rack Mount Kits purchased in 2018 to receive credit. Universal Rack Mount Includes:

• Two (2) Short Rack Ears
• One (1) Long Rack Ear
• One (1) Center Mount Tie-bar
• Six (6) 8-32 x 1/4” Screws
• Two (2) 4-40 x 3/16” Screws

Single Mount:
One (1) short rack ear, one (1) long rack ear and five (5) 8-32 x 1/4 screws will be used.

Dual Mount:
Two (2) short rack ears, one (1) center mount tie-bar, two (2) 4-40 x 3/16 screws for the tie-bar and six (6) 8-32 x 1/4 screws will be used.
