The Contemporary Research IR-RXD is an external Infrared Receiver compatible with the QIP-D and QIP-DVX decoder/controllers and the ATSC-mini HDTV tuner. The device may be used in applications in which the QIP-D, QIP-DVX, or ATSC-mini is mounted in a location where the front panel IR receiver is not accessible.
